Na-Aim Fataar brings over 30 years of high-volume and semi-custom, hands-on boat building experience to Evolution Marine Manufacturing. His extensive career in the boat building industry spans both South Africa and China, where he has earned a reputation for getting projects across the line and delivering exceptional results.

Starting his career as a joiner cabinet maker in 1996, Na-Aim joined Robertson and Caine (Leopard Catamarans) in 1999 as a final assembly carpenter, responsible for complete interior installations including lockers, ceilings, and cladding. His leadership abilities quickly became apparent, leading to promotions to team leader in 2001, group leader in 2003, and line manager in 2005. He was then tasked with leading prototype builds and factory setups at several key locations – notably, the Atlantis factory (2006/07), operations in China (2008/10), and Tide Street (2010/13). From 2013 to 2020, he served as Factory Manager, a role in which his extensive experience in cabinet making and boat building paved the way for further growth into project management.

After his extensive career at Robertson and Caine, Na-Aim joined Two Oceans Marine Manufacturing as the Factory Manager for a production line of semi-custom power catamarans before joining Evolution Marine Manufacturing in 2024. His client-facing skills, global experience, and hands-on approach underpin his ability to drive innovation and maintain the highest quality standards. Having previously collaborated with Oliver Dawson in both South Africa and China, Na-Aim Fataar is the perfect fit for Evolution Marine, where his deep industry insights and proven track record are key to our continued success.
